In practice, thermally conductive silicone adhesive pad are usually installed by the following steps:
1. Clean the surface to be bonded and make sure it is free of dust and oil.
2. Remove the protective film from one side of the thermally pad.
3. Align and fit the adhesive side of the thermally conductive silicone down onto the heating element or heat sink.
4. Press gently to expel any air bubbles that may be present.
5. Remove the other side of the protective film and bond to another component, such as a heat sink or case.
