3M™ VHB™ 4910 tape is a double-sided acrylic foam tape with the following characteristics:

Temperature resistance: Short-term temperature resistance is 149°C (300°F), and long-term temperature resistance is 93°C (200°F).

Transparency: The tape is transparent, 0.040 inches (1.0 mm) thick, suitable for bonding transparent or semi-transparent materials, or in applications where a clear tape is required.

General-purpose acrylic adhesive: Both sides of the tape are coated with a general-purpose acrylic adhesive that can bond with a variety of high surface energy substrates, including metals, glass, and easily bondable coatings and plastic surfaces.

High strength and durability: Provides a fast and easy-to-use permanent bonding method with high strength and long-term durability.

Invisible fixing: An almost invisible fixing method that keeps the surface smooth, replacing mechanical fasteners (rivets, welding, screws) or liquid adhesives in transparent applications.

Pressure-sensitive adhesive: The pressure-sensitive adhesive bonds upon contact, providing immediate handling strength.

Waterproof sealing: Achieves permanent sealing against water, moisture, and more.

Lightweight materials: Allows the use of lighter and thinner different materials.

Physical properties: The tape has a density of 960 kg/m³ (60 lb/ft³), a total thickness of 1.0 mm (40 mil), a thickness tolerance of ±10%, a PE film as the release material, and a release material thickness of 0.13 mm (0.005 inches).

Performance features: The 90° peel strength is 26 N/cm (15 lb/in), the tensile strength is 690 kPa (100 lb/in²), and the dynamic overlapping shear strength is 480 kPa (70 lb/in²).
